Company Profile

PETRIO, a.s. is a long-established Slovak company with a strong family tradition, specializing in the production and sale of polyethylene films.

Our production plant is located in the Nitra region of Slovakia, known for its strong tradition in the plastics industry. For over 20 years, we have been producing and supplying high-quality and sustainable LDPE and HDPE films for the food, construction, woodworking, agricultural and other industries.

The company was founded by Mr. Igor Budovský and his partners on a “greenfield” site with the aim of building a polyethylene film manufacturing company.

Over 20 years of hard work, this bold vision has transformed into an established company with its own production facilities, stable supplier-customer relationships, experienced production, modern technologies and a perspective for further growth.
