The principles of sustainable environmental protection are deeply embedded in our company’s management system.
Our goal is to enhance understanding, both within the company and with external stakeholders, of our environmental impact and to drive continuous improvement towards sustainable development
Our Environmental Principles
- We use high-quality polyethylene in our production and all of our products are 100% recyclable
- We incorporate up to 100% post-industrial recycled (PIR) and post-consumer recycled (PCR) content into our products
- We use flexographic inks soluble in non-toxic alcohol for printing foils
- We continuously reduce the thicknesses of our PE film to reduce the volume of material in production
- Production waste is reused in production using our own recycling line
- Our products do not release toxic substances and are certified for safe direct contact with food
Circular Economy
We have a long-standing commitment to incorporating post-industrial recycled (PIR) and post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials into our PE film production as a way to promote sustainability.
By reducing the amount of primary raw material needed for production, we promote the transition from a linear to a circular economy, with the aim of achieving the highest possible efficiency in waste utilization at the lowest possible energy intensity.
By using the mechanical recycling process – crushing and melting – we process our own technological waste and reuse it in production. This means that the waste does not need to be transported to an external environment for further processing.
This ensures the production of high-quality technical regranulate (PIR), while maintaining a high level of product quality and can also be labeled as a product “made from recycled material”.
The noticeable positive impact on the environment can be documented by the reduction in the amount of waste produced and the reduction of the carbon footprint.
By using its own mechanical waste recovery system, the company saves 1.12 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
